unprofitable belfast for EZY? may i see the evidence from which you have based that statement on?
some easyJet staff at BFS are on fixed term contracts... just means some of them wont get contracts renewed... which makes sense due to the fact there is only 5 base aircraft in winter, with the first airbus base aircraft arriving in December... as for route cuts i dont think BFS will be effected, unless some of the LTN rotations but thats highly unlikely... and a new route is due in Jan 2010..
easyJet is commited to BFS.. as its one of their better stations, probably due to the amount of domestic routes they can run from it... in saying that theres always the possibility of change as things are now unpredictable although passenger numbers were up at BFS in the last few months compared to last year
servisair has been down-sizing at BFS recently... Jet2 contract is apparently up for renewal soon hopefully they get the contract again, because without Jet2 it would be difficult to run a profitable operation at BFS in winter, lots of equipment heading to DUB.. aviance rumored to be looking at "split shifts"
