I have absolutely no intention on coming back to the UK to pursue a career in aviation so would not be interested in taking the JAA qualification for that reason. As I have mentioned on more than one occassion, I would like to work for an airline in Asia. No intention of returning to the UK. I have been told that the FAA qualification is suitable for a commercial job with the larger Asian carriers. Is this the case or would another type of qualification be more suitable? Obviously I'm finding it very difficult to get a straight answer on this subject. I would very much appreciate any guidance.
