flybe did not have to pull off the NCL-ABZ. They choose to, as the schedule dictated by aircraft rotation meant the ABZ rotation was too late in the day to attract many punters. It was a route tried to test the water. The aircraft now does a double NCL-LGW in the mornings. Bit more lucrative than NCL-ABZ.
