Will be interesting to see how this pans out.
The main problem is there are no available stands for overnighting/basing new frames as far as i am aware.
The south stands seem free but thats all.
So Easy have i believe 13 based a/c.They are not likely IMHO to move any to other bases and allow competitors to move in.
Luton has one of the largest catchment areas so its not in their best interest really.
Problem could be that Easy decide to base the a/c at LTN then send them off on W patterns or on routes that have only two rotations a day because of Flight times(PFO , SSH , TLV etc)
This will reduce the passenger figures significantly
So if the Airport is approached by say Wizz to base a/c overnight(which could happen in the future) or Jet2 , Flyglobespan , Ryanair etc there really is no room at the inn if Easy stay put.
Its more of a headache for the Airport than Easy, so they will have to think it through properly, which i am sure they will!
