LTN-IOM has declined to well under 3000 pax per month. London,
as a whole, is a bigger market, but would need early AM/PM departures in each direction to attract any business PAX. Off peak leisure market is quite small. That's why IOM-LCY mid-day rotation has gone.
LPL-IOM would be a 10 minute sector on an A319, and the DHSS traffic which relies on multiple frequencies, is key to getting critical mass on the route.

Even looking well into the future, I can't imagine Easyjet wasting their time even looking at IOM until the economy picks up and market grows very significantly.
