I've just done a review of the book and was offered an interview with Mark by his publishers (which I had to decline due to space constraints), so the word previously on this thread about him being hidden away are rubbish, sorry!
Excellent book, although for obvious reasons it can't maintain the combat momentum of 'Apache' throughout. But as said elsewhere, that doesn't matter, because it really highlights the crew effort and the risks taken to rescue injured guys on the ground; and how you need to be lucky sometimes.
I met Mark on an exercise in Morocco late last year, and I'm glad people like him are on our side; the guy's forearms are bigger than my biceps!
