Like employes at most legacy carriers, QF pilots do not operate in the real labor market. Jetstar/Tiger/Virgin pilots probably do. Almost.
But dont let the market forces of the real labor market scare you. The market is fully capable of paying pilots high salaries. Have you ever seen a 777/A330 contract offered for “$30kpa”? No, I dont think so.
