My super is with Aviva and my employer contributes about $10 a month for $180K death cover. Im sure you can get this upped for an extra premium.
For LOL insurance the AFAP MBF allows you to choose the right amount of cover for your circumstances. I thought a 500K benefit was a bit excessive so went for $300K instead for now (while in GA). Thats still 6 years worth, and they include an additional $100k death benefit with that too. Pretty well covered for $600ish a year.
