4Greens - all sim based - I cannot see any operators allowing their precious airframes to be taken off line to do mini-aeros!
I agree with you about the sim, and the point is, JT, that yes, you can get disorientated but you cannot get the g forces and motion which can and do cause spatial disorientation. However, as para 1, I'm sure that is all we are going to get.
Linking back to previous on the 'recent' TK 737 at AMS, the PGF A320 and the Thomsonfly 737 at BOH I would, as others, press hard for some formal sim training in low speed out-of-trim full power g/a handling for low-slung beasties at least for starters.
