The non-approved deadline does not just mean a 7 hour reduction in hours. Non-approved training is training as required, so theoretically you could only do a couple of hours and then take the flight test (although that would not be advisable). The CAA have said that anyone who is ready for the test but cannot get an initial slot before 30 June may be granted a small extension. However, I do not believe that they will provide an extension to anyone else as this deadline has been set for a long time.
