XM 285 first flew 16/07/1958. RAF - 230 Sqn Odiham, Station Flight, Short Range Conversion Unit. 15/11/1969 to Scottish Aviation as G-31. then G-AYFA. Flight One Feb 1972. Scrapped 1991, nose extant Warmington, Cheshire.
