2010 at BOH

Will Ryanair base a 2nd a/c? if so where will they fly?

Will easyJet ever do more than just GVA? If so where?

Will Air Southwest ever come to the realization of the potential at BOH? If so what would their route network look like?

And why oh why arn't the channel islands served? How can Durham, Doncaster, Exeter, Oxford, Cambridge, Norwich, Southend, Kent, Plymouth, Newquay all have Channel Island connections but BOH doesn't!!!!!!!!!! I thought BOH had a more elderly wealthy and retired population! The very ones who travel to and fro to the island... Does Flybe really have that much of a grip of the market? What about the 400,000 people living closer to BOH than Southampton?

Jersey European carried 19,000 pax to JER annually (8 flights per week F27) and 14,000 pax annually (6 flights per week F27) to GCI during the early 90's. BACK THEN! Thats a perfect SF-340 or J41 or ERJ-135, D-328 or Dash 8-200 volume market. Potential airlines? Aurigny tried with SH-360's, Blue Islands tried with Trislanders and J31's. Air Southwest could do well to try a BOH-JER-GCI link. But why doesn't it stick? What are the airlines doing wrong?
