Over 88,000 pax in July 2009
Bournemouth had a disappointing fall in pax to over 88,000 in July 09, a fall of 19.5% on previous year. This compares badly with Southampton which recorded only a 1% fall in monthly figures.
EXT overtook BOH handling 89,000 pax in Jul.
Most of BOH reductions caused by Ryanair capacity falls at DUB, PIK, NTE and some others. Katowice and Wroclaw reductions by Wizz and Ryanair also assisted the knock down.
Some routes saw growth and strength including Murcia, Marseille, Alicante, Faro etc.
