I would suggest that it could be a good move considering the cost of parts of these machines, as well as shocking lead times. Also consider the NEW cost vs a REFURBISHED component, plus you have to send yours away.

Nothing worse having widget X fail with a 22 week lead time and $$$$ to get it, especially with the aircraft stranded at site.
