Hi Guys.

Regarding the 747-412 series it's an Ex Singapore airline aircraft, who has been updated by KLM engineering.
The B757-2Q8, is apperantley in Nantes for repainting, and this aircraft has been in service for Sunexpress (Turkish charter airline), Aladia Airlines (Mexico) and Aeroemexico (Mexico). With Sunexpress it had 219Y Seats.
The B757 aircraft has winglets.

From what you can read from KLM/Air France engineering, is that they have a contract with Eagle Aviation, for maintenance of their aircrafts, so at least the maintenance is done by a well known airline(s).

Do you all remember years ago, when suddenly a lot of airlines opened suddenly ... well most of them went down. Now a days you don't see many new airlines getting born, you see airlines going down, and others in a lot of problems, XL airways, Sterling, Airbal, etc.. /these all went down recently, Alitalia was in trouble, had to be bought, Skyeurope also in trouble, even the big British Airways is in trouble... So seeing this I don't think that some people just create a new airline, especialy in the crisis climate we are facing.
With these words, hoping that these people and companies who are creating Eagle Aviation Europe, know what they're doing, and hoping for many "Wet-lease" contracts.

Look at Etihad Airways ... A rich arab wanted to create an airline.. well look how good they're doing. Look at all the new airlines in the Middle East .. doing well as well .... So, let's hope something new and exciting will come up, even with the lack of information, but as people said before: Starting a new airline requires a lot of work and especialy a lot of legal paperwork that can take time.

The only thing I hope for us as Crew, is that they think better about the salary and perdiems.
The only thing that makes me thinking is why are they recruiting in Europe giving salaries of 1300 to 1700 euros, and in Asia they're saying at their candidates 1000USD ??? Does this mean that after all the interviews they took in London, they will get people from Asia for only 1000USD??
Let's hope not.. and that they will hire people from everywhere over the world at the same salary. ...

Let's hope some news will arrive from London...

Good luck people
