I use History Killer from
www.historykiller.com.
It not only cleans the cache, it cleans a lot of other things. Now when my wife searches for bubblegum, when she hits the first b the autofillin won't fill automatically fill in BigBlackBuxomBabes.....
It also has a pop-up killer.
