if pay is the main thing that you consider, then be sure that CX won't take you.

Blogsey, commercial pilot is a life time career, a well respected professioanl, you don't just look for short term return. if you talk a/b pay, do you know how much a FO make? "have you done your reserach"? not to mention a/b being captains. hk's cost of living is high, but i'm sure the $ you make from being pilots can fill up your flat w/ beers..

you got to have passion, not just the skills. you need to take the responsibilites of 100s of your passengers' life...
