as much as I try not to judge anyone else, the fact the plane in question thought they were landing at rawnsley would seem to indicate a case of 1)
notwithstanding 2), if someone can't operate a warrior / C172 out of 650m (lack of recency aside), I'd suggest it's time to seek further training, or give up
