True, however it is the guests of the station who keep him in a job, so maybe a little goodwill would go a long way.

There is normally only one pilot there, and surely they fly within the bounds of flight and duty time limitations, so they must get a day off every now and then. Anyway, who cares, what else is there to do up there?
