Al Reef is not in the flight path of AUH airport, it's about 3-5km alongside of the new rwy, so it should be okay. ATC never gives 500 ft initial climb on any rwys, well at least in my 3 yrs experience in EY. Even before they implemented the new SIDs, it has always been 3000 ft A31/A13 dep. And they don't tell you to initiate a 90 degree turn below 1000 AGL, so relax, i think it should be okay, yah?
