Suspiciously quiet on the norther front. However I did hear that said operator was attempting to distract attention away from itself by using that pillar of noteworthy reporting to persue other operators for alleged malpractice. Definately a case of the pot calling the kettle black here!
Also heard that the senior flight ops management of this erstwhile organisation are still in denial mode (well at least to the employees). When confronted by an employee questioning short term (28 day) job stability. The repsonse was abject horror that loyal employee should even be aware of pending action. When questioned as to where they heard about "it:, the response was "everyone on the airfield is talking about it and not only that its on the internet, duh!!!"
Probably the most astounding thing is that none of the reputable media (not the NT News) have grabbed the story, if for no other reason than a good old CASA bashing story. Must be running a serious supression campaign?
However, sad as it may be at the end of the day they will no doubt respond by appearing to relieve alleged recalcitrant owners, and replace them with loyal puppets who will no doubt continue the legacy of exemplary management practice. a notable trait of that organisation for so long!!!
