I think that the whole problem could be avoided by letting members CHOOSE their own password.
Letīs face it, most of us simply create an email address only to receive a password. When that password is lost and a new password needs to be issued, the old email address proves to be invalid because it expired.
Chosing our own password will also probably reduce the number of usernames, as people need to create a new username (for the reason mentioned above) when their passwords gets lost.
Maybe another suggestion could be to allow more usernames to be registered to ONE email address. This way we can manage our īmultiple personalitiesī <img src="wink.gif" border="0"> in a better way.
