If Ryanair had been given their own dedicated terminal and apron back in the late 1980's, they would never have moved to Stansted. Trouble was, LBC could not borrow the money to create the facilities due to HM Govt borrowing restrictions. In fact, I was only talking about this on Saturday evening with a friend of the family at a wedding. For anyone that knows me or my wife's family connections, they might even know to whom I am referring?
