do you want a Captain who can pass a computer aptitude test or do you want to personally interview (ie one to one) someone with 10K+ hours world wide military and civil command experience? They chose the former. Possibly good for identifying future training risks on brand new wannabe pilots (having seen the end product I remain to be convinced) but not so appropriate for the experienced Captain?
Another debate as you said. Almost all airlines do that sort of stuff and it has reached the world of executive flying as well. We won´t get rid of it again, my feelings are mixed, since I figure I would not pass such a test (haven´t done one, just played with a test preparation software) and still think I´m more or less capable to my job. To me, its sort of face safing and job securing for the HR guys that in case of failure blame the outsourced provider of such tests.

If Iknow any client in the future who would fly on JR I´m personally going to advise them f the low quality of people they have
errh what? Are you serious?
