OBAman...right sort of era. The narrow engines are a good indicator that this is not new technology. It was also a project (as you correctly state) which never flew.
The aircraft was to fill both the exec jet and commuter role, much as the EMB-135 does today.
Thats the clues for now....lets see if they are enough.
