BALPA are your reps. If they are doing a good job, then that is the point. They can't do squat without the organised group behind them.
Unions aren't white knights on chargers, they are there to support the CC's who are members and employees.
I fear for our profession when I read stuff like this. I simply didn't realise how stupid most pilots actually are. No wonder people like O'Leary are laughing their heads off at the inability of most flight crew to see beyond the end of their noses.
