Ask to stay with them as long as possible. Now I was always willing to talk to you out to mid channel and put you straight to Le Touquet Tower, but they may not do that nowadays 'cos although they'll only be able to provide basic service after LYD, at least you'll be identified, something London Info and Lydd Approach can't do so if (perish the thought) something goes wrong over water, assistance can get to you much quicker.
