I landed at Mungerannie a couple days before it was closed and wasnt surprised when i heard that it was. The amount of traffic that had been going through the place was just incredible.
If the owners have repaired the strip i'm sure the landing fee's recovered would have only been just enough to repair the strip back to above a bone jarring standard.
Dont forget these strips are the safety net for people living and traveling through the area. If the owner doesnt want to open it up again to large volumes of traffic then its their call.
