some correct points and a personal view.
The HR1 has not yet been submitted, it will happen on wed. It is expected that between 16 and 20 post will be lost from ramp and undercroft but final numbers are yet to be confirmed.
IF, and yes that's a big if, the ramp and cargo were to be combined this would logically mean there would be a duplication of junior managerial posts, the unneeded personal being a ramp manager, 3 Rso's and 4 Stl's along with staff coming to the end of their service opting for voluntary redundancy would probably make up more than half of this number. If all staff were told they would have to work in all areas of operation and not just undercroft or ramp or cargo, then i'm sure the request for voluntary redundancy would more than exceed the required ammount.
