Metro Man:uninformed/Misinformed
Qantas has been cost cutting for 10 years.
It has reduced its wages bill by 22% over the last 7 years.
Ground handling was/is making a profit..just not enough.
Your(Metro Man) perception of the Qantas workforce appears to be jaundiced at best.
Some of what you say was relevant ...20 years ago.
The workforce today is much more pragmatic.
