Great post, bang on the money. This is but one item where the buck should stop nowhere else. Engineering and airworthyness / safety are obviously priority without question, just add fundraising, communications, accountability, marketing,
PR etc etc etc to the list.
Wonder when anyone there will accept any responsibility for anything. Nuff said.
