Your average Mooney is good for 155-160KTAS
True maybe for the J versions... With just 4 cylinders on 33 litres per hour, that really is not unimpressive. Tell ya what, do it with just 45 litres of fuel in the tanks - then make it a minimum of a 30 minutes legal flying.
OK, so those guzzling 6 pots don't like a fuel restriction? Will just have to bring out the K or if we really want to leave em for dead we wont need Wannabe's 220kt Acclaim, the R will be quite adequate to see off those two...
