Let me get this straight. You are saying that a covert, and so far undisclosed, sub mission to the Mull would explain all the known information, and the reason they actually hit the Mull was down to them not being where they thought they were?
If this were to be true, the latter point can be explained by a number of different, and quite likely possibilities.
It does require a monumental coverup to explain the first point though. Is it really possible that this could have been kept quiet for so long???
