LTNMan you make some very good points, but they only highlight the points that I have made before, ie STN and LTN are very different Airports, it doesn't matter how you dress it up and the injustice felt by many LTN fans about the selection of STN as Londons Third Airport, but it happened for a LOGICAL reason. I try to keep quiet, but Buster the whatevers constant anti-STN tirade f**ks me off, maybe I'm just taking the bait, but I suspect he is one of a dying breed that just can't 'get over it' and originally I hadn't included you in that group! I thought that once you visited STN it gave you a wider perspective? I have worked at both Airports, so I feel at least a bit qualified to be a bit objective! As regards to R26, if you were on a flight from China on a BA B777 and land at LHR, very newsworthy, at STN pretty much the same, at LTN? not good!!
As I've said before, LTN is a very good REGIONAL Airport, but that's it!
