Toronto would seem an odd destination considering it isn't served from Dublin and is already served from Belfast.
If they were to move an aircraft up to Belfast, a more obvious choice might be Boston. It's not served from Belfast already, Aer Lingus have brand recognition in Boston and you might combine it with Shannon-Boston, which could do with the passengers, especially in Winter.
