Not so much a merger but a take-over by Thomson by the looks of things.
Virtually all ex FCA management now, but who cares - we've got jobs!
The First Choice and Thomson branding will remain as they each have specific customers in the holiday market. A new colour scheme/airline branding/uniforms is set to emerge with the arrival of B787's (cue histerical laughter!)
There has been confusion, some pax don't want to fly Thomson and vice versa with First Choice. At least the cabin staff are dressed the same now, i've done flights on FCA coloured aircraft with FCA cabin staff in FCA uniforms using 'Thomson Airways' PA's...but what on earth, when you merge two airlines, are you going to do? Big picture stuff - economic's don't make sense to keep them apart.
The percentage of 'returning customer' is actually very low, about 2% - i'm sure this was taken into account.
