I asked my financial adviser to suggest I was covered by the policy only when flying as a passenger on a commercial airline.
That way my policy reduced from over GBP80 to GBP21 per month for GBP250,000 of life assurance cover. I might be taking a risk assuming that company insurance will cover me for any eventuality that occurs whilst flying as a crew member.
The first life assurance policy I set up was better as they didn't ask what I do for a living. So I managed GBP7 a month for GBP100,000 cover.
