It is also being written by a guy who sells 3M tint, so you might question the source, although he does make reference to a UAE law that ALLOWS light tint on the front (allowing 70% of light thru) and 30% on the sides and rear.

Don't see how anyone can object to a clear film on the windscreen, as there are so many blatantly tinted cars around, not to mention kids bouncing around merrily inside the speeding Land Cruiser with the flashing headlamps.
