You’re lucky...

In my day we had to scrap ourselves off the pavement before bedtime, drag ourselves into the sewer, eat maggots for dinner and be up before it was even the next day begging for used chewing gum, just to be able to afford the opportunity to have some pilot spit on us.....if we were really lucky, a PPL student would thrash us within an inch of of lives, telling us we were worse than dried dog sh$t, make us down a litre of used oil and remind us we would amount to nothing more than a pervert staring thru the fence at the end of the runway......that was just to get your SAAF application form.

Funny how things have not changed much....meaning, "I had the sh%t kicked out of me, therefore, I must serve it with interest...".

How about we move on and not only design new aircraft, but new mentalities to pilot them ?
