Since 4.30 yesterday????? That's an eternity for some of the Aldergrove chaps. I emphasise some.
It's a shame that there's not a proper acceptance of the fact people enjoy choice.
The idea that one airport in a field near a big lake should dominate aviation in the north of Ireland is redundant. CAA statistics speak for themselves. People like to use BFS. Others like BHD. Others can't be bothered with the 1-3 hour drive to a Belfast airport and use LDY. (Coleraine, Sligo, Letterkenny etc etc)
All three choices are valid, and let's hope the customer offer can be improved at all three, and that some of the narrow-minded, BFS-centric types on here can see that.
If BFS is the bee's gonads as advertised, then BHD and LDY will soon perish. If not, then humble pie will no doubt be gobbled down graciously (by me included!).
