Have to agree with Gate 22 about BE Reus flt
Operating longer range flights into Europe out of the City has it's problems. If you don't make proper provisions ie. allowing a healthy buffer to allow for slow turnarounds, various ATC issues and any other obstacles Europe presents then you're going to be a resident in Aldergrove more often - like it or not.
If FR gets it's way at the City the anti-noise brigade will have more ammunition than they know what to do with, complaining about noisy 737's keeping them awake at all hours with late flights. Or Aldergrove will have Ryanair flights on a regular basis despite all the negative comments from Mr O'leary.
