No the post means that an Airbus A330 operating from Dublin to Faro had technical problems when it had landed in Faro. The Gatwick - Faro flight (A320) stopped off at Dublin on route to pick up spare parts for the broken down aircraft so it could be fixed at Faro airport.

The Gatwick flight operates direct and this was an exception just to pick up the spare parts needed for the other flight. Therefore it was a rare one-off and your flight should operate direct!

Hope this clarifies things!
