By our estimation, there is NO JUSTIFICATION for the large amount of Class C airspace presently designated in Australia, and subject to the appropriate change management processes we have previously described, you should introduce Class E airspace wherever possible.
I think it's pretty clear, Dick, that VOR was talking about downgrading Class C to Class E. How does that sit with your argument about
upgrading airspace? If you want to interpret that post as being pro upgrading from the present Class F airspace (which suits Australia's particular geography/av density/infrastructure etc quite well) to widespread E, then re-read the plethora of posts about resourcing, infrastructure differences etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.
