Prudence in these tough times is not a bad thing - and a pay cut is better than redundancies - the company is a good one and if it can tighten its belt and control costs and offload the bits that don't work it would be a help - massive cost savings can be achieved at Highland with a little foresight and balls.

Alan and Basil have been in the chair for a long time - they are bloody good guys and have kick started many sky gods careers on the path to success and jets when no other bugger would have given them a second look...

They are local chaps that set up a small freight airline that has turned into a big management nightmare with external shareholders and numerous types, with numerous problems to match..

They need help and support from all that are currently employed as well as needing some external help i think..... but thats my own opinion....!

Crying over a 5% pay cut when you have only been there 5 minutes and thinking the world owes you is not a wise move in this market.......head down, smile, help the company in any way you can and ride it out....! your other options are fairly limited....
