KAG, the DA40 used at BPIAA has a constant speed propeller and also has the Garmin 1000. For a student pilot this is an information and operational overload, and the DA20 would have been a better aircraft for the first 30 to 40 hours to be followed by the DA40 for advanced training. There is also the issue of the front seat not being adjustable and short students having problems with visibility in the flair and therefore the many prop strikes at BPIAA.
