... when I were but a young buck, I knew that I knew everything (didn't we all ?).
Then, as I got older and had more opportunity for those who knew far more to comment on my impertinence and youthful ignorance, I realised I knew rather less.
I am convinced that, by the time I die, I will probably realise that I know 3/5 of etc ....
