You don't get 'offered a job' at 24 unless you were actively seeking. You would need to be very, very good to be offered a job at first request.

. Believe it or not I actually got into the RAF on my first attempt. Shocking I know, but they actually let 24yr olds fly aircraft in the RAF as well.
So, what are these magic skill sets that you must possess?
