As someone who has just converted to an OZ ATPL I must admit more than a bit of shock when I discovered that there are no CAT III approaches in Oz. This really is a 3rd world situation. Even most airports in Eastern Europe that I have visited have atleast a CAT II. In this day and age to have severe delays due to fog with a RVR greater than 300m is a disgrace
