TwoTun - at least read my post properly.
I didn't say anything at all about hours, I said
rotations which means that they are getting higher utilisation out of their aircraft and crews - which is what makes them profitable and other people not.
In what way, exactly, would you (or
wooof) disagree with my statement that pilots are largely systems monitors?
And
Wooof - how far do you think you'd legally be able to fly a loaded pax aircraft without cabin crew or ATC?
Cleaners are optional (though a dirty aircraft tends to put off the pax). ATC and cabin crew aren't.
