1973, 4 FTS Valley. OC 2 Sqn tasked to deliver the Wright Jubilee Trophy to Shawbury. Trophy strapped into the back of his Gnat and off he whizzes to Shawbury. Being a steely-eyed Sqn Cdr, he bursts into the circuit and lands, having made all the requisite radio calls, though Shawbury ATC couldn't seem to see him.
